IITF 2017 (India International Trade Fair) is a premier event for the business community and consumers of India. It draws participation from all states of India and foreign countries like Germany, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada, and Japan; among other countries and provides them a platform to showcase their products.

The 36th IITF is going to be held in Pragati Maidan, New Delhi between November 14 to November 27, 2017 and expects a participation of a total of 28 countries and 42 ministries who will present products ranging from textiles, household products, automobiles, jute, processed food, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, cosmetics, healthcare products to furniture, sports equipment, telecommunication, engineering, power and the electronic sector.

The key attractions of IITF 2017

Theme: “Make in India” features as the main theme for IITF 2017 which is aimed at attracting foreign investors into manufacturing industry. There will be equal importance on themes of “Swachh Bharat Abhiyan” and “Digital India.”
The initiative of 54 startups by entrepreneurs of 35 years and below will be a key aspect of the event. The ministries and state governments will also use it to promote various policies. Focus state: Madhya Pradesh will be the focus of this year’s IITF.

Exhibiting at India International Trade Fair 2017

Exhibiting your products at the fair gives an exposure to the global buyers. It is also a great platform to showcase your technological and industrial growth. In IITF 2105, 350 companies including private sector, government ministries and PSUs participated in the fair visited by a global audience. Both domestic and foreign exhibitors can book their space in the fair. Charges for booking are as follows:

• Per square meter rate of bare space for domestic exhibitors start at Rs 8,800 (Non-AC).
• The rate for the same, in the case of international exhibitors is US $275.
• For booking an innovation pavilion domestic participants will pay Rs 4,500 per square meter whereas international companies are charged US $ 110 (minimum booking of 18 square meters).
